In the words of James M. Barrie “Youth is the joy, a little bird that has just broken out of the egg and is eager to use the wings to discover and explore the sky of freedom and hope”.
‘Make in India’ was launched by the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi on September 25,2014. Through this campaign he aims to turn our nation into a global manufacturing hub.In his first independence day speech he addressed the industrialists and entrepreneurs assembled from every nook and cranny of the world emphasizing on up-gradation of available task forces in order to create zero-defect products with zero (negative) effect on the environment. Youth is the most powerful weapon our nation has so as to win the battle of development and get ourselves into the list of the developed nations. Proper utilization of the youth power becomes even more significant due to the high ratio of young to old speaking from a global perspective. Analysts say that by 2020 the population in India would be in the age group of 29.To the contrary the average age in China and US would be 38 and 45 in European nations. This is the call of the hour.Hence taking our chance to take advantage of benefit of the situation we should lose no more time and immediately spring to action.
The campaign ‘Make in India’ aims at creating lucrative opportunities for the foreign investors and FDI( Foreign Direct Investment), which is ultimately going to eradicate poverty and unemployment from our nation in no time. With the successful implementation of the vision that Mr Modi has shared with us, billions of unemployed men and women are going to get a living. It has been expected that about 3000 companies are going to help our nation in making this dream a reality.
Our motherland is blessed with surplus resources, people with goodwill, devotion and values. No doubt a part of our society has been misguided and hence has exploited our nation’s resources due to its corrupt thinking, but there is still a gleam of hope at the end of the tunnel. The hope of making our nation corruption free and turning every citizen trustworthy and productive is genuine and is not impossible to achieve. The dream of making our country free from corruption and poverty can only be turned into reality if the youth of our nation wake up from their slumber sleep, stop being naive and take charge.
Our society has recently seen numerous examples of high-achievers among the youth bringing name and fame to our country such as Karthik Reddy, Sunil Khandbahale, Robin Chaurasiya and many others. A better part of the youth have already realized their potential. There has been remarkable achievements in the diverse fields such as sports, politics, entrepreneurship, media and mass communication, healthcare and medicine etc. Had the social activists of ancient India who sacrificed their lives so as to set examples for the youth of our nation been alive, would have called for a revolution keeping in view the golden opportunity of holding on to the path lighted up by the Prime Minister and bouncing back with a force so strong that there would be no obstacle in the way to push them down. It is high time the youth of our nation realize their potential and exploit their own capabilities to gift our nation the respect and heights she has always deserved.
There are more than 25 sectors in which the government has taken the initiative to lure the foreign investors and companies worldwide to come and manufacture products in India, giving a platform to the youth to get skilled in the field of their interest and test how far their personal capabilities and technical abilities can stretch and expand. Starting from chemical industries, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy sources, automobiles, food industries, aviary, machinery etc to the very fundamental field of development of our country agriculture. The bricks to the foundation have already been laid. Now what remains for us is to add more and more bricks to the structure with great care and precision so that it is built so strong that people from all round the globe watch our nation with the deepest of awe and admiration. Let us take our nation to the heights it has always deserved. Jai Hind!
